Today is the 2 week point, FWIW. I have lost
yesterday's tailwind, and that has made some
difference. I awoke this morning to find the wind
blowing, from the North. By the late afternoon,
this had changed to the East, "providing" me with
a headwind. As a result, I only made 80km today,
about half of yesterday's mileage. I hope it
changes again to give me a tailwind tomorrow. It
does make a difference. Despite this, I have not
yet lost my sense of wonder at the prairies. I
still find them incredibly beautiful, be they the
same throughout or not. I don't find them so. The
territory has flattened out quite a bit from
yesterday, and I find myself now going quite
level. We shall see what tomorrow brings, I guess.
