As predicted, it did rain today, and as I feared, I didn't make it too 
far. It actually started out Ok; cloudy but no worse. By 1:00, however, it 
had started to drizzle. I have made about 30 miles today. 20 in the 
morning, then about 10 since then (ie: since the rain started). It's not 
so much the rain itself that is a problem, but rather that the roads are 
all wet, and my tyres tend to spray up water all over the place, and all 
over me. Yuck.

   I have found kind of a neat place to "camp." There is an outdoor 
theater here in Stittsville (about all there is... not a big town), and 
the stage is covered. So I am sheltering from the rain under here... 
Center Stage. I for one find it somewhat amusing. A bit on the pretentious 
side, maybe, but amusing nonetheless.

   The rain is supposed to stop by tomorrow. I hope so. I would have liked 
to make Syracuse today. I had better make it tomorrow.
