Well, a week has come and gone, and I'm still in BC.
Hehe -- O well. I didn't do much today; only 39 clicks.
That was by design. I figured that rather than take
a day out to rest, I'd just do a short morning day
then rest in the afternoon today. Saving up for Kootenay
Pass tomorrow. Hmmm -- you can tell what's on my mind :)
Actually the journey wasn't too bad. I went over Bombi
Summit. Not marked on my map, but the sign said 1200m
And I didn't come down too far -- I figure 500m at the
most -- which is somewhat welcome. That mean's I'm at
at least 700m already, so I'll only have about 1000
vertical metres of uphill tomorrow to the top. Less,
probably, since I plan to stop at StagLeap provincial
park, which on the map is somewhat this side of the top.
Leave the last little bit for the next day, the all
downhill :) :) :)  1000m isn't too bad. No worse than
Anarchist (which, if memory serves, was pretty horrible.
O well...)
